The Spiders shot just 33.3 percent from the field, their worst shooting night in any game over the last two seasons, while they were also dominated on the boards as the Minutemen had 46 rebounds to Richmond’s 29.

As for George Washington, the Revolutionaries fell in a 90-67 blowout loss to George Mason in Fairfax earlier this week. George Washington played without key contributor Darren Buchanan Jr, and it showed, while Antione Smith Jr. scored a season-high 13 points in the loss.
